Terms and Conditions.

The following Terms and Conditions apply:

When choosing to REPLACE Windows with Linux, it is AGREED that:

i) You the customer has BACKED UP your data on an EXTERNAL device and you will use that to Recover any data IN Linux if you require

ii) If you require us to Back up and take information across to the new Linux, ONLY the following types of files and those agreed to in iii) and iv) below, will be processed and there will be an Additional Agreed to charge:

a) Windows Documents - *.doc, *.dot, *.dotx and/or *.docx

b) Windows Spreadsheets - *.xls, *.xlt, *.xlsx and/or *.xltx

c) Powerpoint Presentations - *.pot, *.pps and/or *.ppt

iii) On Agreement and provided that the Total Size of such data does NOT EXCEED 5 Gigabytes, the following MultiMedia file types will be taken across:

*.wav, *.mp3, *.mp4, *.mpg, *.wmv, and *.avi

iv) On Agreement and provided that the Total Size of such data does NOT EXCEED 5 Gigabytes, your 'MyPictures' and/or Pictures' directory(ies) will be taken across but with the following condition agreed to: NOT ALL files contained therein may be able to be processed in Linux - however - Linux can most likely process more Graphics file Types (or Equivalents) than Windows

v) NO Windows APPLICATIONS will be moved across to Linux - only the file types described in ii), iii) and iv) above can me moved

vi) It is AGREED that WE at TopSOFT provide NO METHOD of Reverting BACK to Windows AFTER Linux had REPLACED your Windows operating system.

All of the above will be agreed to in a SIGNED Contract by both parties that includes the above, before any work can be started.
